Used for the extraction of binder from hot mixed paving mixtures. It can also be used for determining the moisture content. This model is one of the  versions of the hot extractors accepted by the EN Standards as the wire mesh extractor, Kumagawa extractor and reflux extractors.
It consists of:

• Steel pot with gasket and gauze container
• Dean and Stark receiver
• Liebig condenser
• Pack of 100 filter paper No. 54x400 mm dia.

It has to be used with a suitable hot plate. See accessories.
The solvent used can be profitably recovered with the #solvent-recovery-unit#.
